Phlebology is a new specialty, dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of vein disease. Due to the surge in innovations in vein therapy, and the number of physicians dedicating their practices to venous disease, the American Medical Association (AMA) has now formally recognized Phlebology as a distinct medical specialty. Dr. Osorio is board certified in Phlebology. As a board certified vein specialist, he has special education and training to evaluate and treat a wide variety of venous disorders. Dr. Osorio was one of the first in Arizona to receive board certification by the American Board of Phlebology.
Eric Johnson, PA-C is a 5th generation native to Arizona who completed his bachelor's degree at Arizona State University and went on to complete his masters program of physician assistant science at A.T. Still University. He worked in orthopedic surgery for 6 years specializing in sports medicine, arthroscopic surgery, joint replacement, and trauma surgery. Eric's previous surgical experience, made him a natural with vein procedures. Eric, in addition to being outstanding at ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy also has exceptional skills with microsurgical techniques, such as ambulatory phlebectomy. He has a passion for learning the latest in vein therapy, and strives to offer his patient's the most up-to-date treatments.
