Back in 1970, Allstate Appliances was founded with a 1969 El Camino and the entrepreneurial spirit of Ernie Goodwin. After 18 years working with builders as a Westinghouse rep, Ernie’s dream of owning his own business finally came to fruition.
Out of a storefront in Phoenix, Arizona, Ernie sold appliances by day and delivered them at night. Contractor sales were a natural for him, so the rapidly-growing business eventually revolved around selling exclusively to the contract trade.
Allstate Appliances is a family-owned and operated business. In the 1970s, Ernie was joined by his wife Linda, and in 1982, son Ron came into the business full-time. A contrast to the faceless & uncaring large organizations of today, the family’s earnest and friendly approach to running Allstate Appliances sets the tone for relationships and trust between Allstate and their customers.
With a solid management team in place, Allstate Appliances' 3 showrooms serve each major distribution channel: wholesale, builder and retail. Their large warehouse facility serves as the hub for warehousing, delivery, credit & administration.
