American Institute of Technology
is a vocational school dedicated to providing training which allows our trainees to learn and develop the skills necessary to be successful in the trucking industry and get employed in truck jobs. Our goal is not just to simply train individuals to pass the Commercial Drivers License test, but to produce graduates that will be valued employees for some of the finest transportation and trucking companies in America. AIT is a private technical/career institute, dedicated to individual trainee progress. Trainees learn by demonstration, study, and practice in modern, comfortable surroundings. They work hands on with modern equipment under the supervision of qualified instructors. AIT's trainees receive a maximum amount of personal attention in classes that are carefully limited in size so that each student receives personal instruction.

AIT's truck driving schools are sharply focused on helping our trainees attain their Commercial Driver's License and preparing them for jobs immediately after graduation. AIT is a private technical/career institute geared towards preparing our trucking school trainees for careers in the trucking industry. Although a portion of the classes are held in a classroom setting, the learning experience our trainees receive at AIT is far from rote memorization and theoretical knowledge. AIT's truck school is dedicated to helping our students get hands-on training and the development of real-world skills that translate directly into solid careers.

AIT has several CDL truck driving schools, each is a proven Class A CDL school.

In 1993, AIT relocated to its present facility in Phoenix, Arizona. In September 2001, AIT opened a branch location in North Las Vegas, Nevada. Students who receive training and graduate from AIT truck driving schools receive a diploma from a trucking school that is accredited by Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) and licensed by the state with in which they operate.
AIT's main campus is a two-story facility with an on-site range area for practical hands-on training. Trainees also have access to many other types of instructional equipment and video training aids. Range and road training is conducted in modern equipment, utilizing dry vans and flatbed trailers. Training is also conducted on roads and highways in or near the Phoenix and Las Vegas metropolitan areas.
