Apex Quality Automotive Detailing was started as a labor of love. A love of producing finely detailed vehicles with the most demanding and labor intensive techniques, using the highest quality products available. I believe this is the only way to achieve what I view as perfection.  My long-term relationships with my suppliers and my extremely low overhead allows me to offer my detailing service at a competitive price compared to other high-end boutique custom detailers.

I also believe that true master level craftsmanship has become a lost art form, and I am committed to keeping it as the reference level standard. I completed my first professional detail in 1986 when I was 18 years young in Page, AZ. Traveling the world from there I have accumulated over 24 years of amateur and professional detailing experience in Hawaii, California, and Arizona, I have honed my techniques to realize there are few shortcuts on the way to excellence. Infact, in 1989 I declared my extreme detailing techniques by authoring the "Anal Retentive Guide to Detailing" which was a tongue and cheek detailing guide based on the SNL Phil Hartman sketch "The Anal Retentive Chef" which you can view at the bottom of this page.

I have tried every promising detailing product in recent history and come away with (or thrown away) a vast collection of losers, and a select few award winners. Each of them is a best-of-show in their respective categories exceeding purely on overall long term performance. The most expensive products are not necessarily the best products, and visa versa. I am unbiased and not loyal to any one brand or company. Most of these products are imported from around the United States, some from Europe, and few, if any, are currently available in Arizona outside of my shop.

Although I have frequent requests for mobile detailing, I rarely detail outside of my shop for a multitude of reasons.  Primarily, I have custom designed my studio to facilitate the highest quality detail possible - including thousands of watts of high intensity, wide spectrum specialty lighting and an environmentally controlled atmosphere.  However, for your convenience, I have pick-up and delivery service with loner vehicles available at no additional charge.

I readily admit that my way of detailing cars isn't the quickest or the cheapest.  You should have no problem finding plenty of businesses out there if that is what you are looking for.
