Arizona Security Group, LLC is a proudly owned and operated by United States Marine Corps Veterans and they are A+ rated with the Better Business Bureau. 

 Tony Garcia Founder, Arizona Security Group Tony Garcia is founder of the Arizona Security Group (formally known as the Arizona Safety and Security Institute) which he started in 2004. Realizing that security companies within the State of Arizona were inadequately training their security staff, he set out to make a company dedicated to training security personnel. In 2009, Mike Simon joined and became a co-owner. Tony started his passion for training and education while serving in the United States Marine Corps. From there he has held numerous positions within the security/law enforcement industry. This includes: Department of Judicial Security trainer, College Safety Officer with the Maricopa County Community College School District, Branch Manager of a contract security company with over 150 security officers, and company trainer for an aviation security company. He has also served as a Law Enforcement Instructor at the East Valley Institute of technology Tony has an Associate of Applied Science from Mesa Community College, a Bachelor’s in Administration of Justice from the University of Phoenix. He also holds numerous instructor certifications from the National Rifle Association to include: certified pistol, home firearm safety/personal protection in the home, and range safety officer. He is also certified by the State of Arizona as a Career and Technical Education instructor and is also a certified International Foundation of Protection Officers instructor. Tony also believes in serving his community. For the last 12 years he has been an active member with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, serving in such duties as enforcement support and advisor for the Sheriff’s Explorer post. He is also currently a board member for the Arizona Reflections Community Association. Tony has been recognized as a leader in his field by winning the 2013 and 2014 “Best High School Teacher in the east valley” as voted by the East Valley Tribune. He has also received numerous accommodations from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for going above and beyond in his role as a volunteer Posse member.
