Our company, formerly known as “Sundek Decking & Concrete Surfacing”, has been doing business in Lake Havasu City for over 28 years. We are members of the Lake Havasu Area Chamber of Commerce, Colorado River Building Industry Association and the Better Business Bureau.

Owner/Operator, Rick Punu has over 38 years of decking experience. Rick came here from “Sundek” in Bell Gardens, CA, where his territory included Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Bel Air, Malibu and Pacific Palisades. He and his crew did the decks of several famous people: George Hamilton, Aaron Spelling, Ralph Bellamy, Linda Blair, Chuck Norris, Cheech Marin, just to name a few.

We take pride in providing our customers with exceptional quality and workmanship. We are aware of the many problems relating to the extreme weather conditions and the alkali problems in Lake Havasu and the surrounding areas. We know what can be done and what can’t be done. If we can’t do it right, we won’t do it!

Our products are applied over new or existing concrete or wood surfaces. Our product is not a paint film, but actually a colored concrete, having a basic composition of Portland Cement and silica sand combined with sophisticated epoxies and acrylics. Our finishes provide superior compressive, tensile and flexural strength, maintaining the life expectancy of concrete.

With the safety feature of a non-skid finish and the cooler than concrete temperature underfoot, AZ Sun Decking provides the solution to your resurfacing needs.

AEDC, Acrylic Emulsion Deck Coating, is the laboratory tested and proven concrete resurfacing material that has been applied on over 1 million square feet of new and old concrete pool decks, patios, walkways, coping stones and cantilever faces in a myriad of conditions. AEDC is not a paint film, but actually a colored concrete, having a basic combination of Portland Cement and silica sand combined with sophisticated epoxies and acrylics. AEDC provides superior compressive, tensile and flexural strength, giving AEDC the life expectancy of concrete.

AEDC can be built up to bevel heaved concrete or feather edged to meet adjoining surfaces. It will restore and create a beautiful, permanent surface, easily maintained by occasional hosing.

Prior preparation and time to complete an AEDC application are minimal. With the safety feature of a non-skid finish, and the cooler than concrete temperature underfoot, AEDC is the foremost consideration in concrete resurfacing materials.
