The mission of CEA is to create and facilitate opportunities for academic achievement, global competence and personal growth through quality international education.
CEA was founded in 1997 to provide international education opportunities and the highest quality student support for U.S. and Canadian university students interested in exploring global issues in exciting global cities. Today, CEA sends thousands of students every year on education abroad programs to locations in several countries, including Argentina, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, South Africa and Spain.
CEA's mission focuses on the extraordinary opportunities the 21st century has to offer. These include academic achievement, global competence and personal growth. To facilitate students' success, CEA focuses on the 'service first' experience, which includes providing in-depth orientation, superior support while abroad and facilitating transfer of credit back to the home institution. Working closely with study abroad offices and international program departments across the U.S. and Canada – more than 400 last year, CEA also has established successfully 125+ special academic affiliate relationships with colleges and universities, providing even more options and greater access for students to study abroad. CEA has been ranked as one of the fastest growing organizations in Arizona and in the U.S. But rapid growth has not compromised our commitment to academic integrity and student service. Our signature Study Abroad Centers in six countries have established CEA as an innovator in education abroad. This is who we are. This is what we do.
