In late 2005 I decided to start my own heating and air conditioning business to service Tempe and surrounding areas. I was extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to work for a company, owned by two successful individuals who had started their HVAC business 30 years prior. My reliability, determined work ethic, and attention to detail quickly garnered their attention. Over time they systematically mentored me through all aspects of their business, including service sheet metal, estimating, and finally the administrative side of their business. This education provided me the equal of a formal 5-year apprenticeship. Eventually, I became interested in moving out on my own.

In 2007, with their support and encouragement, I found myself working out of my garage, putting my tools, skills, knowledge, and ability to work. I also purchased my first service truck. I was able to start my business with a couple of key contacts, and gradually built a small customer base incorporating my business philosophy: Honest, Dependable & On-Time Service. Steadily, my customer base expanded.

By 2007, I realized that in order to continue my original goal to provide Honest, Dependable and On-Time Service and maintain my established level of quality service, I had to have help. I hired my first two employees. As we grew together as a team, I managed to put another truck on the road, take on some more work and continued to watch my business grow. By this time, Child Air Conditioning and Heating, Inc., had successfully completed jobs for FOX 10, Leisure World, Enterprise Rent A Car, and Edward Jones to name a few. In 2010, I was afforded the opportunity to move my business out of my garage into my first commercial office space. Since then I have purchased my own building and currently Child Air Conditioning & Heating, Inc., has continued to grow and now employs a staff of six, including myself, an office manager and four well-trained technicians.

By listening to our customers and understanding their individual needs, we were able to create and environment dedicated to providing courteous, high-quality and on-time service. Our office manager and highly-trained technicians connect with each of our customers, which allows them to communicate valuable information to each other, so that we can continually provide consistent, confident and correct decisions for every job, every time. Our company does not believe in high-pressure sales, nor are our technicians paid on commission.

We have a vast knowledge of installation, service and repair techniques and are tested daily.
