Erik Peterson has worked as an Associate Real Estate Broker in Sedona for 5 years and been working in the Resort business for 13 years. During this time he has been responsible for multi-million dollar sales and marketing budgets, production, recruiting, training, and retention of top agents in sales and management positions. Erik has also been responsible for maintaining all aspects of residential and commercial off property marketing locations for Sedona and the Verde Valley. This includes identifying new locations, negotiating leases, coordinating landscape care, cleaning contracts, maintenance, repairs, improvements, staffing , hours of operation, tenant, sub-tenant and landlord relationships. He has served on task force committees working with the City of Sedona, Sedona Main Street and Sedona Chamber of Commerce. Desert Mountain Brokers is a member of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce in good standing.
Erik has made his home in Sedona since 1999 and has been in Arizona since 1981, growing up in Tucson. He received his B.S. Degree from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff in 1991 with additional post graduate, Pre Med studies taken at the University of Arizona in Tucson. While at Northern Arizona University, he was a member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity holding leadership positions on the Council. While attending Pre med classes at the University of Arizona, he assisted with two separate laboratory experiments from the College of Medicine that went up on two separate NASA Shuttles. Erik, his wife Beth and his family enjoy the outdoor lifestyle Northern Arizona offers, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, camping, fishing and star gazing.
Erik's strengths that he brings to Property Management is his attention to detail, good communication skills, the ability to create win win relationships between property owners, buyers or tenants and their homes or investments.
