My name is Joe Volin and I have been helping people to an end to their financial troubles in the Phoenix Bankruptcy Court since 1986. I help people eliminate the stress of money problems. The tools I use are called Chapter 7 and Chapter 13.Most people don’t understand what filing bankruptcy is. I have designed the articles on this site to dispel many of the most common myths and misinformation about our laws and what happens when a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 is filed.Too often people call me too late to get the best results. Many times, often motivated by feelings of guilt and remorse, people will make a bad situation worse. Unrealistic attempts at solving debt problems through the use of uncaring consumer credit counseling services, high cost debt consolidation loans, debt settlement companies, second mortgages, and unrealistic repayment plans, make a bad situation worse.My goal is to help provide you with the bankruptcy information you need to decide whether a Chapter 7 or Chapter 13 filing makes sense. Of course, when you can realistically pay your bills without undue hardship, filing a Bankruptcy case will not make any sense. I promise you that I will not risk my professional reputation by recommending a bankruptcy filing when you have other realistic options

Filing a Bankruptcy case is not a decision that comes easy. My clients tell me over and over again that it’s one of the toughest decisions they have ever made. I will help provide you with the information you need to help you make a decision. Some of the questions that are answered here are:

  • The facts you must know before filing Chapter 7 or Chapter 13;
  • Is Consumer Credit Counseling Services a good option;
  • What will my credit be like after filing;
  • How to choose the best Bankruptcy Attorney;
  • What will happen when I file, and many more.

Hopefully you will find the information you need to help you make a decision on whether or not to explore your options under the Arizona bankruptcy law.
