The Medical Flight Services family consists of highly experienced specialists, medically trained case managers who receive your call, answer every question, and work with you, your doctors and other medical personnel to arrange every detail — and the best possible fit — to get your loved one the immediate care they need. Our air ambulance teams and flight operators are some of the best, most experienced teams in the industry. Our legal team is your best friend when you find that you are hearing “no” all too often. With us on your side, you can rest assured that if it’s possible, we can make it happen.
Medical Flight Services medical teams are generally comprised of two-member teams based on the medical condition of our patients. The teams typically include a Certified Flight Registered Nurse (CFRN) and a Critical Care Paramedic (CCEMTP). In the most critical cases, a three-member team that includes a physician will be utilized. The medical director will ensure the appropriate team is in place whether the transport is routine or a special case.
All medical operations and staff are supervised by a licensed physician who serves as the medical director. All medical team members are trained in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Critical Care for the patients that are severely ill or injured or a combination of these.
