We pride ourselves in leading the industry in quality care medical flights and subject our employees to continual rigorous training, ensuring qualifications are exceeded by physician assistants, registered nurses, respiratory therapists and paramedics. The intense training completed by certified flight nurses and paramedics means better care for patients. Our continuity care commitment is our goal to meet the patient and family at the sending facility and to continue care all the way through the transport until relieved by the receiving facility. Providing point-to-point care decreases medical personnel rotation and has been proven to minimize medical errors.

Quality care is also prevalent in our patient and family care. During situations where our services are needed it is necessary to address more than a patients medical needs. Family members and other medical personnel involved in the emergent situation need support and constant information. Mercy Jets will take the burdensome process from the family and work in conjunction with hospital and facility doctors, case managers, and nurses to coordinate the air medical transportation. Additionally, we will keep the family informed before, during and after the air medical transportation.

Mercy Jets care doesn't end upon completion of the medical services rendered however, and most patients and family’s will still have much work to do with claims and the worries about an insurance company’s actions. Insurance lingo can be confusing and long hours on phone calls are nearly impossible to balance when your loved one is in need of support and you still must balance normal life with the addition of new stressors. Our insurance experts and legal team will take on the arduous role of ensuring an insurance company properly handles your claim. In fact, we follow claims and will file appeals and legal actions when needed to ensure your rights and benefits are not stifled by an insurers unwillingness to help you.
