Longevity and Stability

Training to You was founded in 2003 as an Arizona corporation.  Although Training to You itself has existed over 7 years, its roots as a corporation in the Phoenix market reach all the way back to 1986 with the foundation of the training company Training à la Carte.  The CEO and founder of Training to You, Tim Smith, was a lead account manager for Training à la Carte, so when they elected to close their doors in 2003 Tim Smith purchased the assets and launched his own training company, Training to YOU, Inc.

Global Recognition

Training to You has established itself as a leader in software and technical training in the Phoenix marketplace.  Training to You has been a Microsoft Gold Partner and a Certified Partner in Learning Solutions since 2005.  In addition Training to You is currently a Certiport and Prometric private testing center.  Training to You is also currently in review to become a Registered Education Provider for Project Management Institute.

Local Recognition

Training to You has been recognized by the Phoenix Business Journal as a Top 10 “Computer Training Schools” in the Phoenix market.  Training to You also received the prestigious Volunteerism Award in the category of Community Stewardship in 2009 for its commitment to volunteer and give back to the Phoenix community.  Training to You has been awarded the State of Arizona contract for employee training and also founded a Private Post-Secondary Education school in 2005 to help work towards the company’s goals and mission.  Training to You takes great pride in both its status in the community as well its loyalty to the Phoenix area community as a whole.

Our Owner’s Story - “From Golf to Computers”

Tim Smith, Owner and Founder of Training to YOU transitioned his life in 1998 from Professional Golf Instruction to Business & Career advancement training.  Tim improved the success of golfers throughout Arizona as a PGA Professional Golf Instructor from 1986 through 1998, and then he felt the calling to embrace the new arena of computer training. Tim states “I loved the education piece of golf, but wanted to take it to the next level by training people for their professional careers.” Tim also owns Staffing to YOU, Inc. dedicated to placing people into quality jobs.  Asked why he created another company he states “ I guess I’ve always enjoyed helping people advance themselves both personally and professionally, so that’s why we’ve created both Training & Staffing to YOU.”
