Our career in Merchant Services began ten years ago
working with large companies such as Bank of America, Wells Fargo, and Lynks Payment Systems among others. We quickly learned that our merchants became nothing more than numbers in the eyes of these big companies. It was rare for us to have contact with any of our clients after the initial set-up and many of our merchants expressed difficulty getting answers to technical or billing issues through the “800” number of the parent company. In addition, since 80% of our client base is within the Vietnamese business community, many of our merchants also experienced difficulty communicating their concerns with service representatives who spoke only English.
After taking into consideration all of the problems that our merchants were experiencing, we decided to start our own company and provide our merchants with the type of service they needed to maintain a successful business. We started out by looking for a processor to partner with, however, finding the “right” one proved to be very challenging.
