Welcome to Wayne's Place Saddlery and Farrier Service

we are family owned and operated, located in Tonopah, AZ. We make custom handcrafted saddles, tack, chaps, chinks, belts, spurs straps, holsters, gun belts, scabbards, saddlebags, pack equipment, accessories and more. With over 30 years experience in the leather working and farrier business. The quality of our work comes from the experience in these areas and others.  We do carry some new and used saddles and tack at times.

Wayne and Elizabeth have been involved with the horse industry for over 30 years, as youths Wayne participated in Jr. Rodeo, various events and Elizabeth was involved in trail riding. As adults they both participate in team sorting, cutting events, trail riding, pack trips and Elizabeth also participates in barrel racing. We both have trained horses and we still train are own. Elizabeth gave western riding lessons for four years. Wayne has been shoeing horses for over 25 years and got his certification through Western School Of Horseshoeing. Elizabeth has been working with leather for 8 years now, she was taught by Wayne who learned under his Aunt and Bill's Saddle Shop in Laveen, AZ. We continue to enjoy the western lifestyle in Tonopah, AZ with our 1 mule, 3 horses and cattle that we rise.

 The Saddlery opened in 2005 in Tonopah, AZ, which Elizabeth runs full time. All leather work is handcrafted by Elizabeth. The Farrier Service was operated by Wayne part time for 15 years in 2000 he got certified through Western School of Horseshoeing and established a full time business. The Farrier Service was operated by Wayne part time for 15 years, in 2000 he got certified through Western School of Horseshoeing and established a full time business, he has been shoeing now for 30+ years. Our 160x400"arena is now open to the public, we hold Barrel Practices, and we'll be holding Progressive Barrel Racing Jackpots and Gymkhana's.  We're still in the process of building  alley ways and chutes for Roping and a smaller arena for Team Sorting.
