Julie is a Certified Public Accountant and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional with nearly a decade of financial planning experience. Julie has an extensive background in tax and estate planning and investment advice as well as individual and family financial planning. She is devoted to enriching lives through sound financial strategies and has a particular passion for helping divorced and widowed women and women business owners.
She is also a FINRA Series 7 General Securities Representative, NASAA Series 63 Uniform Combined Securities Agent State Law, an Investment Adviser Representative, and holds life and health insurance licenses in Arizona and Wyoming
Julie received her undergraduate degree in Accountancy and her Master of Taxation degree both from Arizona State University. She began her career with “Big Five” accounting firm, Arthur Andersen, LLLP and also gained professional experience with Inlign Wealth Management, LLC, one of the Valley’s largest wealth management firms, serving high net worth families.
Originally from Denver, Julie has lived in Arizona for 18 years. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, and reading.

Julie Kern founded Bridge Divorce Strategies in 2009 to provide the service and support women need — backed by the sophisticated strategies and a refined process. Our mission is to help you “bridge” the gap between where you are today and your future financial security. To achieve this goal, we provide all-encompassing support for women who are in transition and those who seek guidance through every chapter in their financial lives.

Julie A. Kern, CPA, CFP®, CDFA™
Julie is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA™) with over 17 years of wealth management experience. Julie has an extensive background in financial planning, investment advice, divorce planning, estate planning, risk management, and tax planning and compliance.
Julie’s passion and expertise is in helping women achieve financial success, particularly women who are widowed or divorcing. A strong advocate of empowering women about money and a woman who has experienced divorce herself, Julie’s mission is to help women overcome the unique challenges they face to successfully achieve financial security.
She received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy and her Master of Taxation degree from Arizona State University.
Originally from Denver, Julie has called the Valley home for more than twenty years. Her hobbies include hiking, CrossFit, reading, watching NFL football, and spending time with her grown children.
