Our History
When Richard and Paula Conroy founded Canyon Lake Construction in 2001, the company operated in Minnesota and offered only residential renovation services. The Conroys rapidly developed their company, broadening its services to include additions, new construction, and commercial and institutional projects.
What prompted this dedicated married couple to launch their own business? Richard’s skill and experience in the construction industry led him to perceive a need for higher standards in quality. He developed a desire to fulfill that need and provide people with outstanding workmanship. Because of her business acumen, Paula was an obvious choice of partner. By the time she founded Canyon Lake Construction with Richard, she had already developed a track record of excellence in management and marketing.
By delivering superlative service and completing projects with skill and integrity, the Conroys continue to demonstrate a commitment to their clients. Richard is the company’s general manager. His experience in construction has ranged from working as a laborer to overseeing projects worth millions of dollars. He understands every facet of a project and knows what it takes to deliver a result that clients will love. Paula manages the office and directs the company’s marketing and public relations departments. Her efforts ensure that clients feel understood and that the company remains responsive to their unique needs.
