How We Got Started:
Classic Ballroom Elegance was founded in 2011 by Cindy Brinkmeyer. After moving to Arizona in 2003, Cindy an experienced classical dancer and choreographer entered the exciting world of Ballroom Dance. Seeing all the various options and prices for dresses for a competitive dancer, she wanted to offer both new and seasoned ballroom dancers a way to have beautiful competition and showcase dresses to wear that wouldn't destroy their budget. She realized that making a decision to order or purchase a custom gown could be a daunting one and renting provided a means to try out different designers dresses, experiment with various styles and personalities, all while not making a significant financial commitment to one dress.
After operating Classic Ballroom Elegance on a local level, Cindy joined with her daughter Margo Badman to expand Classic Ballroom Elegance to the internet. In August 2014 they officially launched the new Classic Ballroom Elegance website. While doing this, Cindy and Margo wanted to make Classic Ballroom Elegance more than just another ballroom dress rental company, but rather expand it into a "dance source" for ballroom dancers.
Our Mission and What We Offer
Our Mission at Classic Ballroom Elegance is to provide not just Top Quality Designer Dresses for Rent but much more. We want every one of our clients to feel like a VIP, by providing Impeccable and Professional Service along with a wealth of Resources and Networking Options all on one site.
Here at Classic Ballroom Elegance not only do we provide beautiful designer dresses delivered to you but so much more. You will find that our dresses arrive fresh, on a hanger and in one our custom Classic Ballroom Elegance garment bags. All our dresses are treated with the same love and care as brand new custom gowns. Our Ballroom Dresses are ALWAYS cleaned in-between every Try-On and Rental to ensure that they are fresh and sanitary. Our clients can feel proud and beautiful wearing a Classic Ballroom Elegance gown or dress.
Sometimes our clients have dresses that they would like to sell; we now offer consignment listings where our clients can rent and/or sell their dresses on our website.
Being dancers ourselves we know that so much more goes into being a dancer than just a dress and thats why we want to offer you a selection of resources to help you reach your goals and answer questions that you may have. If its your first competition and you aren't sure what you will need, no problem we offer a handy packing list for you use. Wondering about how you should style your hair or what make-up to wear? We will be posting how-to articles on a variety of subjects including sunless tanning, make-up, accessories, hair products and styles. Many of our tips will be coming from Top Pros and judges as well as fellow dancers. If you have any tips you would like to share or questions you would like to ask, check out our blog. You never know who may find there discussing the latest dance news. Ever wonder about how the top pros prepare for a competition, their dance schedule etc.?
