She maintains a close connection to her teacher and mentor, Dr. Shi Xue Min, regarded as the "Father of Modern Acupuncture" in China. Together they work to grow the awareness and acceptance of acupuncture in the United States, with particular attention paid to the effectiveness of acupuncture in treating many different neurological disorders.
