Welcome to SAECO
SAECO's personnel, facilities, and equipment are audited, approximately every 2 years, to assure compliance with national standards. We participate in the Proficiency Sample Program (PSP) where lab testing results are compared with 3,000 other laboratories across the United States to ensure quality testing. We are accredited by:
• AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory (AMRL) - Phoenix
• Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) - Phoenix/Tucson
At this time SAECO has over 20 employees, with 4 registered professionals. The company is also committed to the certification and continued development of our employees. SAECO Construction Engineering personnel maintain certifications in a wide range of programs including the Arizona Training and Technical Institute (ATTI), American Concrete Institute (ACI), International Code Council (ICC), National Institute of Certified Engineering Technicians (NICET) and the Geosynthetic Institute (GSI).
The engineering and management personnel of SAECO are currently or have been involved in leadership roles within the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Arizona Rock Products Association (ARPA), and Maricopa Association of Governments (MAG) Specifications and Technical Committee. SAECO is a company member of ARPA, the Tucson Utility Contractors Association (TUCA), the Metro Pima Alliance (MPA), and the Southern Arizona Home Builders Association (SAHBA).
